If you have something positive to say in memory of an alumni who has passed-this is the page to share with the Sandia View Academy Alumni community.
I lost one of my Best friends this week. Jorge and I have been friends since grade school. As kids we went every where together . My Dad would take me and my friends to the Diablo baseball games, he would take use to shoot fire works on the 4th of July. Jorge, David Ramirez and Carlos Licon and I would ride our bikes all over El Paso. Skating on Saturday night was the best . It got even better when we went to SVA. I was with Jorge on his first plane ride and he hated it. As time went on I came to Love his family as they became my family as well. Jorge and I use to ride back and forth to SAC in his Chevy. I could tell many more stories about my friend, but not now. I will miss him dearly. Please let this be a wake call to you and your friends . Tell them that you love them , Let them know how much they have meant to you . Treasure each and every time you have with them. Get together as much as possible. But in the Big picture remember this world is not our home!!!!. We will see Jorge again. But until then the choice is yours. Will Jorge see you again?? Until then SVA forever!!!! - Jesse Turner, Class of '81
